Meet Wendy Gropler
Wendy Gropler came to visit Valemount five years ago and immediately fell in love with the scenery and mountains. She knew then that she was meant to live in Valemount, so she went home, started developing her business plan and sold her house to move to Valemount where she launched Sewhot Embroidery and Transfers.
Her home-based business provides her with a great deal of flexibility and allows her to be more available to her clients, many of whom own their own businesses and aren't necessarily available during the daytime. Wendy always gets a little thrill when she creates a batch of coordinated garments and then goes to an event and sees multiple people wearing them.
It was nature that drew Wendy to Valemount and that's often where you'll find her when she isn't working. She loves outdoor activities, particularly fishing, hiking and camping. She also loves to spend time playing with her granddaughter.
