Picturesque. Unique. Infamous.
Despite the fact that it’s housed in a former RCMP jailhouse and still has two jail cells, one of which is fully functional, complete with bunks and bars – and the key, the Jailhouse Bed and Breakfast harbours no jail birds. Instead, guests get treated to a little bit of local history while having access to the many outdoor recreational opportunities as well as unique shopping and dining experiences available in and around Valemount. Two of the three bedrooms come with en-suite washrooms and guests can choose from twin or king-sized beds. The third room, with a private bath across the hall, is a converted jail cell furnished with a queen size bed. The original bunk beds remain, making this a perfect space for families travelling with young children. When you are ready to start your day, breakfast is cooked to order. Jailhouse Bed and Breakfast truly does have the key to your escape!
